Job Title: IP Prosecution

IP Prosecution - Electrical and Electronic Arts
National law firm seeks mid-level associate with experience in drafting and prosecuting patent applications in the electrical and electronic arts; familiarity with ALL aspects of PTO practice; prior experience in engineering a plus (prior to or parallel with law school). Ideal candidate must be able to produce big quality work with minimal supervision, possess worthwhile client interaction skills and be able to work in a team environment.
Associate will be drafting and prosecuting opinion work (patentability, infringement, and validity) and have the opportunity to branch out into related IP matters such as licensing and litigation and will have the ability to work in other disciplines, including electronic circuits, communications, control systems, computer systems, software, and business methods.
